Shooting the Moon

You'd think this was Kenny's idea, but you'd be wrong.

Luke decided he wanted to be a chess piece (specifically the queen, since she is the most powerful--he was very insistent that the king was lame because he could only move one space), and so we became boardgames.

I enjoyed receiving lots of compliments on my costume (a first for me), Baby D was mistaken for a girl the entire night, Kenny enjoyed his monocle, and Luke was more than happy to explain who he was over and over. Let the games begin!

First Date Night in Forever...

Just happened to be at the World Series a couple of days ago.

Luke was devastated not to be included and tried to convince me earlier during the day that the tickets we had purchased were "a dada ticket and a kid ticket. I don't think you should be going."
So we brought him home a hat.

That's the same, right?

And though it's starting to look more and more bleak, go Astros!

End of the Snuggle

This is to commemorate the last day that Baby D will be able to sleep on his dada at church. As of next week he will officially be 18 months old and off to nursery! When Luke turned 18 months old he barged in and never looked back--

I'm pretty sure Derek is going to hate it.

Halloween Jamas

Almost as good as Christmas pajamas.

When I pulled them out, Luke took a look at the feet and said something along the lines of "Why do they have feet? These must be Derek's". But he soon found the tight-fitting, single-pieced pajama ideal for optimum football moves and didn't stop moving for about an hour and a half.

Crashing Soccer Shots

Just a couple more years, buddy. Maybe you can be the mascot.
