Look at that little goober!
Baby D is learning new things every day! Whether or not he wants to admit it. He knows how to clap (I've seen him do it), but he prefers to pretend he doesn't so that I will take his hands and clap for him. He also knows how to give little kisses, but so far will only give them to me. :) He knows how to sleep, but just refuses to do so for long stretches of time.
There are some things he is really good at: squawking, bear-crawling, face-pinching and -scratching, wiggling, being adorable, and giving really big squishy loves.
Baby D still loves to move, but after his super early start in the crawling department he hasn't shown a real interest in doing any walking (even assisted). He can cruise and push things with ease, but doesn't seem to want to take that next step. Baby D still prefers nursing to eating, for the most part, and is picky about what he will eat, but has no problem putting leaves, dirt, and acorns in his mouth every chance he gets. He has learned to throw this past month and will play fetch with himself for quite a while (usually until Luke decides to steal his ball).
Derek loves to do whatever his big brother is doing, has to be included in all of the goings-on, and has recently insisted on being held during dinner preparation (so he can see what I'm doing). These two are going to be inseparable once Baby D is finally old enough to wrestle!
